School Closing Information

In accordance with our district policies and procedures, elementary children must dress appropriately for the weather forecast. They will be expected to go outside when the wind chill and/or temperature is above "zero" degrees Fahrenheit, and when it is not raining during other seasons. If the wind chill drops to 10 degrees or lower, our individual buildings will determine if outside recess is suitable and/or appropriate.

Please ensure your child comes to school dressed for Michigan's unpredictable weather. Scholars are expected to go outside unless a parental note is provided. Extended indoor recess, beyond two (2) days, will necessitate a doctor's statement provided to their building.
