The Pontiac School District continues to work for the betterment of our students. Yesterday, March 19, Debra Shore, EPA Region 5 Administrator and Philip Roos, EGLE Director participated in a special event at Pontiac High School celebrating our recent award of $15.8 million in grant funds as part of the EPA’s Clean School Bus Program.
These funds are bringing 40 electric school buses and infrastructure to our district beginning this fall. We were joined in celebration by President Garrett, Vice President Gross, CTE Student Ambassadors, Bill Holcomb, First Student, DTE, Borg Warner, state dignitaries, and members of the media. See below to see the photos from the event or to read the article in the Detroit News, please click here. Thank you EPA for providing our students with clean energy transportation to and from school.
Pontiac School District partners with First Student to provide safe and reliable transportation for eligible students. Use the resources below to learn about transportation eligibility, track your student's bus, request transportation services, and find answers to common questions.
