It is the belief of Pontiac School District that technology is not about the hardware and software, but a part of a curriculum that is a living, breathing entity which requires technology integration into all aspects of the learning process and the student’s educational experience.

Since the fall of 2012, the Pontiac School District has partnered with Oakland Schools Technology Field Services Division. This partnership is part of the restructuring and support of the technology deliverables in Pontiac School District. The OS Field Services model focuses on industry leading deliverables that strive to provide, assist, and support the latest technologies at levels that exceed the needs and expectations of staff and students. OS Field Services also leverages the expertise of an expansive network of experts in all technological areas supported, maximizing the opportunities for the Pontiac School District.

The district commitment to instructional technology improvement were provided by the support of the community through the passage of the 2021 school bond.
