Southwest Foodservice Excellence manages the food service department in the Pontiac School District. We are committed to revolutionizing how students are nourished. Everything we do within a school district starts with the students. We will enhance their learning experience by creating healthy eating habits through nutrition education and interactive experiences. Your students are our number one priority. Our commitment for your district is to focus on the food we serve your students each and every day. Our student-based programs are designed to create a fresh, new buzz, which will boost participation through enhanced menu diversity, the implementation of quality, great-tasting foods, promoting health and nutrition and improving community involvement.

Our Goal
Our goal is to support district-wide student achievement by encouraging healthy eating, which helps to create healthy minds and bodies. We participate in the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs along with the Community Eligibility Program which gives us the opportunity to serve healthy breakfasts and hot nutritional lunches to every student in the district at no charge. On-site preparation ensures that meals are served in compliance with all Federal, State and local Health Department regulations. All menus adhere to the guidelines of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA.)
