The Owen Elementary School community, which includes our parents, teachers, administration, students, partners, and others stakeholders, is to assist all students in realizing their maximum academic, emotional, physical and social potential in order to succeed in a rapidly changing world. Positive Behvioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) is a systematic approach to proactive, schoolwide behavior based on a Response to Intervention (Rti) model. PBIS applies evidence-based programs, practices and strategies for all students to increase academic performance, improve safety, decrease problem behavior and establish a positive school culture.
